Externally Aided Projects in the State of Karnataka

In order to augment its resources for implementing various projects for the welfare of the people, Government of Karnataka is getting aid, through Government of India, from various external agencies like World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Japanese Bank for International Co-operation etc,

Many projects are being implemented in the state with such external aid. To monitor the implementation of the externally aided projects, a Project Monitoring Unit has been set up in the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.

A birds eye view of each of the externally aided projects under implementation in the state is given in this site. Guidelines for formulation of the project proposal and addresses of Officers located at Government of India and State Government level are also given.
